Connor Powers is a baseball & softball hitting instructor with 10+ years of coaching experience. He earned Illinois Baseball Player of The Year honors in 2006 and earned a scholarship to # 1 ranked Mississippi State. During his time at Mississippi State he accumulated 54 Home Runs ranking him 4th in all-time home runs just behind Rafeal Palmeiro and Will Clark. He also played in the College World Series in 2007 as a true freshman.

After college, Connor was selected in the 2010 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres where he played for 3 seasons. During playing career he competed against numerous top MLB players including Anthony Rizzo, Chris Sale, Buster Posey, Josh Donaldson, and more. After wrapping up his professional baseball playing career, Connor launched a hitting website and YouTube channel where he currently has over 30,000 subscribers.

He works with hitters of all ages and skill levels. His philosophy is centered around mastering fundamental hitting principles and adapting his coaching style to each hitter based on their needs.

When he's not working with hitters, Connor is spending time with his amazing wife, Rachel, and kids, Hank & Ana.

Fun Fact: After finishing my baseball career Connor competed on the World Long Drive Circuit and set a world record with 156 MPH club speed on the trackman. The longest drive he hit during competition is 402 yards and non-competition is 430 yards.
