Alyssa Guss is an accomplished golf coach and former NCAA Division III All-American at North Central College, where she became the most decorated athlete in the women’s program’s history. She earned her bachelor’s in exercise science (2011) and master’s in marketing and professional leadership (2013).
After her standout playing career, Alyssa transitioned into coaching at both the Division I and III levels, helping teams set program records, win conference titles, and achieve top NCAA finishes. Her holistic coaching philosophy focuses on developing complete players—enhancing technical skill, course management, and confidence on and off the course.
In addition to her extensive golf background, Alyssa became a certified personal trainer in 2019, combining her exercise science foundation with a deep understanding of athletic movement and performance. She’s passionate about helping golfers and athletes of all levels unlock their full potential through purposeful training.
Alyssa shares her love for the game with her husband, Jason Guss, a golf instructor at Naperville Country Club. Together, they inspire growth both on and off the green while raising their two young children, Gianna and Ricky.
